Using the Lectionary as a flexible framework of texts for worship, while claiming our freedom to thoughtfully, prayerfully, and communally modify it to more effectively communicate the story of the Bible.
For my D.Min. in Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary, I am focusing on how we can accept the Revised Common Lectionary as an ecumenical gift for worship planning without being rigidly attached to it for every lesson every Sunday.
